Who is it for?
‘Prevention is better than the cure’ and within the context of Fire prevention no truer words have been said.

This course is for any person that has been allocated fire safety responsibilities or fire marshal duties in their organisational environment.

Location:
We can train up to 30 students at one time in your own environment or you can join an open course at our offices.

Course content:
Understand the roles and responsibilities of a fire marshal.
Awareness of the dangers of fire.
Understand the nature of fire and how it spreads.
Awareness of fire prevention measures.
Understand the correct actions to take in the event of a fire / fire alarm sounding.
Understand the evacuation procedures (including compartmentalisation and appropriate refuge areas)
Awareness of regulatory reform order 2005.
Understand the duty of care.
Awareness of human behaviour in emergency situations.
How to distinguish between the different fire extinguishers.
Awareness of how to tackle small fires safely and correctly using appropriate fire extinguishing equipment.
